Pre-loved family things looking for a next home — Sydney North Shore

We're a family living in Sydney's North Shore with kids who keep growing out of things faster than we can keep up. Everything listed here is something we genuinely loved and used, and we'd like to pass it on to someone who'll get the same use out of it.

The aim isn't to make a profit. Prices are suggestions to keep things fair — what matters more is that these things go to people who actually need them and are willing to make the trip to pick them up.

Fair warning: I don't have much time for long back-and-forth with every enquiry, but I'll do my best to answer your questions. Please only get in touch if you genuinely want the items you've ticked. I'll try to get back to you soon — usually within a day.

A red Ferrari radio-control car — the LaFerrari shape — with the matching Ferrari steering-wheel controller in the photo.

An officially licensed model rather than a generic toy, so the detailing is decent: alloy-look wheels, tinted glass and the badge on the nose.

In good condition with only light marks from use. $10.

A green Mini Micro three-wheeler — two wheels at the front, one at the back, and you steer it by leaning rather than turning the bar. That is what makes these so good for little ones: they stay upright while they work out balance.

The preschool size, so roughly ages two to five. Ours learned to scoot on it and used it until their feet were hanging off the back.

It rolls straight and the steering is still tight. Free to a good home.

A childrens study desk in white and green, with a matching white swivel chair on castors. Both go together for the one price.

The desk is height adjustable — the legs set to three heights (59, 66 and 72 cm), so it grows with a child from about school age through high school. The top is 96 x 58 cm, with cable holders behind the back legs. Around $158 new.

Still in good condition. Some marks from use, but solid and everything adjusts as it should. Comes apart for transport if your car is small.

The play mat both our kids started out on. A big quilted alphabet mat with animal patches, a baby-safe mirror, and two padded arches with toys hanging down to bat at and grab.

Good from newborn to around 8 months — lying and looking at first, then reaching, grabbing and tummy time. Lots of colour, texture and crinkle to keep them interested.

Pre-loved by both of ours and it shows its age, but everything is there and works. The arches unclip so it folds flat for the car.

A tub of toys, books and games our two grew out of. Suits roughly one to six — board books and a shape-sorter noisemaker for the littlest, then puzzles, cards and games as they get older.

Books and games include three Bluey titles, Go Maisy, Go!, The Little Fox Who Lost His Tail, a stripes board book, Dr. Seuss opposites concept cards, a Very Hungry Caterpillar bingo and matching game, two floor puzzles and a Style Me Chloe dress-up set in a wooden case. Toys are a Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn, a toy xylophone and piano, a boxed Minion Dave figure, and the red toy shopping trolley in the last photo.

All of it well loved and showing it, but nothing broken. $20 for the lot and you can have the tub too. Happy to break it up if you only want a few things — tell us which and we will sort out a price.
